PS: True for all people, no matter how old they are, I think. And no matter where they live, in China or in Munich.
Personally I find it extremely sad to see more and more kids in restaurants in Munich, kept quiet with iPhones, not interacting with their parents anymore. Going to a restaurant with kids may be stressful in the beginning, but it’s a social experience and also eduation for life. And kids will learn (how) to behave at the dinner table and/or among other people.
