Use what you have!

According to this post, on average each inhabitant in Germany buys 60 pieces of clothes each year!

A lot of those clothes are never worn or worn only once.

So, we should probably all try to buy less. Try to use what you already have and try to sell or rehome clothes which you don’t need/like.

But please don’t „donate“ all your stuff, just to buy new things all the time. This is not sustainable, we do not have enough customers for second hand clothes in Germany.

So, if you buy something, you might also search for second hand items.

And/or repair items which you already have.

And if you buy something new, there is now a new label „Der Grüne Knopf“ for more eco friendly and more socially fair clothes.
