Commercial air flights 2020 2021

Interesting Eurostat numbers about the „Commercial air flights“, including January 2021
And this time they also put the numbers for the airports, e.g. the German big airports Munich, Frankfurt, Düsseldorf.
You can clearly see the big impact of the travel bans due to the measures against the Coronavirus.
From an energy consumption point of view, e.g. pollution and CO2 those effects might be good.
However, from a financial point of view and job or private view this is of course not good.
I don’t really think that reduction of mobility is working as long-term solution to slow down climate change and not a solution for environmental problems on our planet.
