I am deeply sorry to hear that no female and no young staff member had the courage to Lean In and stand as a candidate for the election of staff representatives in my former work place. And furthermore, as a former President of the Staff Association I find it strange that only four candidates were running for four seats, all of them male (as said), and due to age and position close to management and retirement. If we (women and younger people) do not get engaged, we do not get a chance to participate actively and it is unlikely that topics which are important to us are addressed ….and for sure, I know that there were plenty of unresolved issues. www.eso.org
